Birthday Party Policy

Small birthday celebrations are allowed in the classroom. Families must contact the teacher in advance. All snacks must be single-serve for easy distribution. To ensure student safety, especially for those with allergies, only the following snacks and drinks are approved:

Approved Snacks:

Goldfish (Plain)
Annie’s Cheddar Bunnies
Annie’s Graham Crackers
Annie’s Fruit Snacks
Teddy Grahams
Pirate’s Booty
Lay’s Classic Potato Chips (Plain)
Utz Plain Ripple or Wavy Potato Chips
Ruffles Potato Chips (Plain)
Pringles Original
Chips Ahoy (Plain)
Oreo (Plain)
Linden’s Chocolate Chip Cookies
Bachman Pretzels (Plain)
Marino’s or Luigi’s Italian Ices

Nut-free cookies (item must come in sealed original package that indicates it is nut-free)

Nut-free cupcakes (item must come in sealed original package that indicates it is nut-free)

Approved Drinks:

Mini Water Bottles
Juice Boxes

Important Guidelines:

• Family members and siblings cannot attend classroom birthday celebrations.
  
  

• Non-approved items will not be distributed and will be sent home, especially if there are food allergies in the classroom.

• Goodie bags are not allowed.
  
  

• Birthday invitations may only be given if all students in the class receive one.
